Q) Can I have friends and family help with the work? Of
course! In fact we strongly encourage it. Home improvement projects can be fun work, and made even more so if you and your
friends are learning how to complete new DIY projects and building confidence with home construction work. And most importantly,
many hands really does make lighter work.
Q) What kind of help can I expect from an
on-site Construction Coach? For a few reasons our Coaches aren't permitted to get dirty
with the work itself. But most notably, the whole concept here is to help enable YOU to do it yourself, so if you're looking
for someone else to do the work you're barking up the wrong tree. ...Our Project Coaches will provide demonstrations
throughout a project, but beyond that all they bring is their knowledge, experience, and a healthy dose of positive support
- you bring the rest.
Q) How much time should I expect to complete a project? During your initial in-home evaluation your Project Coach will help analyze the project(s) you are looking to complete
and provide you with an assessment of the time it should take to complete each project based on 1) your experience, 2) the
difficulty of each project and 3) the number of helpers you expect to have on-hand.
Needless to say, every project
is different - bringing unique circumstances and potential snags - but we take pride in trying to offer a reasonable
assessment of how much time to expect on a project. Some general estimates:
- Installing Wood Strip Flooring
(8' x 10' floor)
- Experienced, 4 hours
- Handy, 6
hours
- Novice, 8 hours
- Snap Laminate Flooring (8' x 10'

Q)
What if it rains on the day of scheduled outdoor work? Just like baseball, there is no crying in home
improvement work and we don't play in the rain. If you only have outdoor work scheduled for a given session your Coach
will work with you to reschedule a time that works for you both. Q)
Will our Construction Coach bring any tools and materials? Customers need to provide all
the necessary tools and materials to complete a project. During the initial in-home evaluation your Project Coach will provide
an assessment of the supplies needed, but you should make sure to have purchased or rented everything needed prior
to the scheduled day of work.
